How it works
- Gather your slips. Once your T-slips and receipts arrive (most by the end of February), send them to us along with any changes in your situation.
- Preparation and questions. We prepare your return and check it against your CRA account, asking about anything missing or unusual.
- Review and sign. We review the results with you, including any balance owing or refund, and you authorize the filing.
- Filing and follow-up. We file electronically and help with any CRA follow-up.
Common questions
When is my personal tax return due?
For most people, April 30. If you or your spouse or common-law partner carry on a business, the filing deadline is June 15, but any balance owing is still due April 30, so interest can apply if you wait.
What should I bring?
Your T-slips (T4, T5, T3, T4A and so on), RRSP and charitable receipts, medical and childcare receipts, and details of any rental or self-employment income and expenses. If anything changed this year, such as a move, marriage, new child, property sale or retirement, let us know.
Can you help if I’m behind on my filings?
Yes. We can prepare and file prior-year returns and help you get back in good standing with the CRA. Where it applies, we can also talk about the CRA’s voluntary disclosure and relief programs.
Do you work with clients outside Sudbury?
Yes. We serve clients all across Ontario. Documents can be shared securely online, and meetings can be held by phone or video.
